Today Diagnovum and InnoTractor have signed an agreement for the development and realisation of the Connected POCT (Point of Care Testing). Diagnovum provides diagnostic care services to hospitals and general practitioners in the south of The Netherlands. It provides supporting services to general practitioners and hospitals so they can focus on direct patient care. With the Connected POCT, the hospital laboratories can bring quality testing directly to the general practitioners’ offices, thereby improving the quality and speed of patient organic material testing. Each test result at the general practitioners’ office will be directly available at the authorised hospitals’ laboratory information system (LIS), thus speeding up patient care. With this secure connectivity of POCT equipment InnoTractor enables healthcare efficiency as well as realisation of the digitisation ambitions of Diagnovum and its cooperating hospitals.
