At InnoTractor, we have a spot for a Software Architect/Developer who designs the technical backbone of our products, builds backend logic, and specializes and orchestrates AI agents to help implement, test, and document software – owning the full journey from idea to production support, together with our Services Development team. Someone who links systems, makes data accessible, and builds smart solutions that reduce waste and strengthen supply chains.

As a Software Architect/Developer at InnoTractor, you translate customer needs into functional and technical designs and turn them into robust, cloud-based applications. Programming runs through your veins and energizes you. You’re multidisciplinary, eager to pick up new technologies, and contribute to reducing waste in the supply chain.
At InnoTractor, we increasingly build with AI coding harnesses such as Claude Code, Codex, and Hermes: our developers design the architecture, define the requirements and quality bar, and specialize and orchestrate AI agents, skills, and workflows to help implement, test, and document the code – including the front-end work that used to be a separate discipline. That work now lives with our Services Development team, who use Claude to build and maintain user interfaces and dashboards. As a Software Architect/Developer, you’ll own the technical design and backend, and know how to configure, guide, and review the work of these agents so the end result is secure, scalable, and maintainable.
You help develop innovative digital solutions aimed at achieving zero waste in the supply chain, and you’re comfortable owning the full software engineering lifecycle – from an early idea, through design, development, and deployment, to production support. You develop and maintain cloud-based software for our clients and play a crucial role in projects. Using your knowledge of C# (and optionally Java), you build backend applications following Agile methodologies. You regularly coordinate with the Product Owner and work on test automation and creating customer value. You also structure data with endpoints for dashboards and contribute to application quality and lifecycle management.
What you’ll do
• Design functional and technical architecture, and translate customer needs into clear designs
• Develop and maintain backend applications in the cloud
• Work with AI coding harnesses (Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, and similar) to specialize agents, develop their skills, and orchestrate them into workflows
• Direct and review the work of AI agents to help build, test, and document software, including front-end and dashboard work in collaboration with the Services Development team
• Own end-to-end software engineering: from shaping an idea and its design, through development and deployment, to production support
• Communicate with the Product Owner about requirements and priorities
• Automate testing and create customer value
• Structure data through endpoints for dashboards
• Monitor application quality, security, and lifecycle management

What you bring
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Backend Developer, Software Architect, or similar role
• Experience working Agile
• Strong programming skills in C# / .NET (version 6+), up to date with the latest developments
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Affinity with, or genuine curiosity about, working with AI coding assistants and agents (such as Claude) to speed up and improve development
• Experience with Java, Azure, NoSQL, IoT & Blockchain is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Flexible and a true team player
